I came to software development through hospitality — which turns out to be surprisingly good training. You learn to read a room, communicate clearly, and stay composed when things go sideways. Those habits stuck. Since making the switch in 2021, I've been building production-grade web applications that people actually use.

My sweet spot is the frontend — React, TypeScript, SvelteKit — but I build full-stack and own the full picture. Go for APIs where performance matters. I think about the user before the implementation.

That means understanding the problem they're actually solving, how they move through a product, and what patterns they've already learned to trust. Consistency matters to me: if something works a certain way on one page, it needs to work the same way everywhere. Users shouldn't have to re-learn your product.

I care about code that holds up. Performance and accessibility aren't afterthoughts in my work — they're part of how I build. If you're working with me on something, you'll get clean code, clear communication, and no surprises.
